Sold as MDMA — shorter and different

Took what I was told was MDMA. The effects came on within 20 minutes — faster than typical MDMA. Initial rush was euphoric and empathogenic but felt 'lighter' somehow.

The peak was shorter — maybe 90 minutes compared to MDMA's 3-hour window. Empathy and sociability were present but less profound. More stimulating, less emotionally deep. The desire to redose was stronger.

Later tested the remaining powder — methylone (bk-MDMA), not MDMA. The safety profile is less studied and the compulsive redosing pattern concerns me.

This experience reinforced why reagent testing matters. The differences were subtle enough that I wouldn't have known without testing. Marquis went yellow instead of the purple/black that MDMA produces.
