I started taking this form of magnesium 5 days ago, I'm taking 6g per day in 3x 2g doses. 2g of threonate is only 36% of rdd elemental magnesium so don't worry. I'm also taking other form so I'm taking about 200% of rdd via supplementation. No problem with my gastric system.
I satarted taking threonate form, because it's suposse to boost synaptic plasticity. Effects in studies are describing that there is something going on but after a few weeks of supplementation.
But I have noticed something different too - my endurance erformance is dramatic higher than it was just a few days ago. I mean - I'm pretty sportactive person so it's an obvious change for me.
Suddenly I'm able to run twice as much without any physical and mental exhaustment. I'm running 10-15km twice per week and I'm swimming an hour twice per week. Today after 15km run I was feeling great so I have did another 10km and I'm still ok. No cramp in muscles, no exhaustment. My legs ligamentums would not like this but I could go right now and do another 10km, or I could go swimm now.
Also I'm not 100% sure this, but my sleep requirement is decrased as well. Normally I was sleeping something about 8.5 hours, yesterday and today I was well rested after 7h so I didn't forced myself to sleep more. Maybe it's just coincidence but in case of physical perfomane I'm almost sure that magnesium threonate is responsible for this rapid improvement.
EDIT: I literally jumped out of my bed to write about this :) I hear silence! I was in bed trying to fall asleep when I have realised that first time since I don't know how many years I don't have tinnitus. I don't know, maybe more than 10 years with this noise that was always there. It's amazing I forgot how it is to not hear any noise.
