Each experience lasted approximately 10-12 minutes with a 30-40 minutes afterglow period of mild euphoria.
DMT x3 or x4 inhalations
-powerful feeling of intensity throughout mind and body
-[with open eyes] surroundings are intensely crisp and clear. Extremely solid in appearance, almost crystalline. All textures and surfaces have the visual quality of something like shattered glass. Everything is visually intense.
-Body feels heavy. No desire to stand or move anywhere, I just want to remain seated.
-[audible effects] A multiple layered high pitch tone is apparent. Not spatially mapped onto my surroundings at all, it doesn’t feel like it’s ‘coming from’ anywhere around me. I just ‘hear’ it. It was difficult to focus on but very apparent at the same time. Extremely high pitched with the subjective quality of being of a very high frequency or fast vibration.
-[with open eyes] the arm of the sofa in front of me takes the form of an Aztec/Mayan eagle’s head. Things are extremely intense so I closed my eyes.
-[closed eye visuals] endless, flowing, beaded ribbons of colour and geometry stacked continuously on top of one another encompass my entire visual field. They were flowing slowly past each other in swirls and curves. Snake like in nature. Somewhat reminiscent of blood cells moving through capillaries. Each ‘ribbon’ is divided into endless sections with shapes and forms inside each one. I was able to move my head around with closed eyes and look around, the visions staying in place as I moved my head left or right. I could turn to the left and see patterns that were different to those on my right for example.
-[eyes closed] a distinct feeling of being in the presence of something else, as if I could feel that something was aware of me.
-[eyes closed] body feels less solid. It feels wavy and begins to feel continuous with the sofa I’m sat on.
-[eyes closed] out of the geometry the shape of a wide faced feline emerges. It is hanging in the geometric space above me. I can feel its presence strongly. It is multicoloured and geometric in form. Wide staring eyes. Arms spread to the sides.
-[eyes closed] feline thing starts to descend towards me.
-[eyes closed] I feel a warm column of sensation in my chest. The feline uses it forelimbs to do something to this area of sensation in my chest.
-[eyes closed] I get the distinct feeling of being ‘helped’ or ‘worked on’ or ‘fixed’. In the same way that a mechanic would fix a car or a surgeon would operate on someone.
-It’s intentions feel positive. I feel safe and helped.
-[eyes closed] I look up to see a group of beings arranged in a circle, cartoonish and Aztec in colour and form, looking down at me. They seemed to be observing what the feline was doing, like assistants in an operating theatre.
-gradual return to normal perception.
-visual phenomena fades away and ceases.
-euphoric ‘afterglow’ feeling for 30-40 minutes after initial effects have subsided.
DMT x3 or x4 inhalations (second experience)
-same open eyed and closed eyed visual phenomena as previous experience. Endless flowing serpentine ribbons of colour, multi layered high pitched tone that was difficult to focus on.
[the following occurred entirely with my eyes closed]
-feline forms become apparent. I observe a multicoloured cat with an open mouth. There is another feline form within the mouth of this cat.
-an elongated civet-like animal is seen.
-An Aztec-like king or god is seen sitting on a throne.
-I feel my body falling or being pulled downwards while ‘myself’ is being pulled up, as if I am about to leave my body.
-a gap forms in the 2 dimensional geometric imagery. Looking into the gap I see something much more 3 dimensional in nature. On a black background there is a clay textured sphere that looks as if it has been pressed in on three sides giving it a rounded triangular appearance. It’s surface is continuously folding in on itself. This object appears much more ‘real’ than the other imagery. Much more 3 dimensional and solid, and much easier to focus on.
-I feel myself rising or ascending above my body.
-New noises can be heard. Bleeping mechanical noises. These are different to the high pitched tone. These are very clear and easy to focus on, just like real noises. They seem very real and are mapped onto my spatial awareness. They come from in front of me, from the sides and from behind.
-I continue to rise up triangularly out of and above myself.
-an overwhelming sense of ‘waking up’ out of something occurs. I feel like I’m about to breakthrough into some place.
-a realisation that my life was a game, simulation or dream of some sort occurs.
-incredibly intense. I felt like I was about to breakthrough into some kind of higher realm or dimension and that life was just a game or test.
-my sensations begin to descend back into my body.
-I gradually return to normal.
