Hello all,
I had posted a comment somewhere a while back explaining that I would create a post based on my own experiences with 4-Fluoroethamphetamine. I am finally getting around to it now.
After searching all over the internet for any sort of experiences using 4-FEA, I found most people claimed a recreational dosage is 150mg+. Unfortunately, the high dose requirement is true.
I have read that 4-FEA feels more like a serotonin releaser than much of anything else -- and I didn't quite know what I should expect from trying it myself.
Well, I diluted some 4-Fluoroethamphetamine into some 151 proof rum, at 1mg/ml, totaling 15ml.
On one day, I orally administered 100ug 4-FEA. No effect.
The next day, I administered 250ug 4-FEA. No effect.
The next day, I administered 500ug 4-FEA. No effect.
The next day, I administered 1mg 4-FEA. No effect.
The next day, I administered 5mg 4-FEA. No effect.
The next day, I finished off the rest of the solution, ~8.15mg total. No effect.
I then proceeded to wait 4 more days before trying a higher dose.
I weighed and ground 50mg 4-Fluoroethamphetamine, and proceeded to administer the compound intranasally over the course of an hour and a half. No discernible effect within the following 3 hours. I went to sleep.
The next day, I weighed and ground 125mg 4-Fluoroethamphetamine, and ingested it intranasally over the course of an hour.
About 30 minutes after finishing the 125mg, I experienced a fair mood lift, with a general contentedness with my day. Overall, I felt more positive, and maybe slightly more energized than I would on any other given day. I was happy, and enjoyed any tasks at hand.
This contentedness lasted around 4 hours, before I gradually glided to baseline.
I decided 125mg must be on the lower end of recreational dosages -- especially seeing as how I read an experience where somebody only received euphoric effects off 200mg+.
Recreational experience:
250mg 4-Fluoroethamphetamine weighed and ground.
T-0:00: ~50mg ingested intranasally.
T+0:30: Mild mood lift noted, nothing extraordinary. Decided to re-dose. ~50mg intranasally.
T+1:00: ~50mg dosed intranasally.
T+1:30: Feeling a rise in positivity, along with an increase in focus. Decided to fully immerse myself into a recreational experience. ~100mg dosed intranasally.
T+2:15: Not feeling much difference... Wondering if there is a ceiling effect? I definitely know not to re-dose any more.
T+3:15: BOOM. It all hit me at once. I was surprised, 4-fluoroethamphetamine took quite some time to ramp up, even dosing intra-nasally. I noticed that the mood lift I was experiencing from previous doses was probably just excitement from trying something new.
4-Fluoroethamphetamine is not very stimulating, physically. I was more energetic and focused overall, but it wasn't forcefully so. It definitely felt VERY serotonergic. I felt lethargic, yet energized. I felt euphoric, and I had body tingles -- yet the euphoria was dissimilar from that of a dopamine rush. I was discovering that the character of 4-FEA is very unique, in that you don't feel instant gratification from dosing. You must wait for the experience to come to you.
T+3:30: Feeling tingles all over my body, and especially the mind. I felt slightly confused with the task at hand, even though it was a fairly simple task. Pupil dilation was noted, and a smile was stamped across my face for the duration of the experience.
T+4:00: Finally understanding that this truly is a serotonergic compound, and not extremely recreational. The feeling of serotonin release is unique, and you can relate it to other compounds that act as serotonin releasers as well.
I remember thinking: "This feels like the come-up on psilocin" -- although, there was no psychedelia. The feeling of serotonin being released into your system is unique, and it feels... Sedative, and exciting, and relaxing, and happy, and it feels... Flowy. I'm not sure how else to put it.
There is no dopamine rush with 4-fluoroethamphetamine; you don't become a crazed fiend for the compound. You don't attempt to re-dose and re-dose to chase some sort of fleeting euphoria. Personally, though, I re-dosed every little bit to hit my maximum dose of 250 mg, as I figured I would be feeling each dose within minutes of administering.
Unfortunately, even with intranasal dosing, the come-up definitely does take some time.
It took me ~135 minutes to ingest my full dose of 250mg, however, the effects of the 4-FEA hadn't hit me until ~195 minutes in (or ~105 minutes after my final dose of ~100mg).
T+5:00: Really feeling like I want to go lay down in bed, with my comfy pillows. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of an important task. I remember being slightly confused, mentally. I knew what I had to do, but my mind wanted nothing but to lay down and snuggle up in some blankets, and ride out the feeling. I was also feeling rather tired, or just... relaxed and lethargic. I didn't really want to do anything, and I was super comfortable just sitting still, feeling the tingles in my body and mind.
T+5:45: I am out and about, and conversation with strangers comes naturally out of me. I am happy and enthusiastic, and I'm craving some sort of positive interaction, even if it's just small talk.
T+6:00: I'm home, and I decide to drink some water, to quench my thirst. I notice I am gradually returning to baseline. Very gradually.
The peak effects were strong -- I remember thinking I shouldn't have ingested as much as I did.
T+6:30: I decide to go lay in bed, and watch some television. The sheets are smooth, the pillows are soft, and the blanket is warm. I cuddle up in bed with my teddies and turn on the television.
T+7:00: I'm watching some television and I find myself laughing a lot more at the jokes and humor of the show I'm watching. I'm having a wonderful time just enjoying myself and the tingly feeling I'm having. I also had 3 ginger cookies with a small glass of milk as a snack.
T+8:00: I find myself really tired, and I might fall asleep. I decide to eat some dinner, and return to bed.
T+9:00: After finishing dinner, I watched some more television before turning it off an going to sleep.
Overall, 4-fluoroethamphetamine (4-FEA) is a very sedative compound. It definitely does act as a serotonin releaser, at least from speculation. There is very little, if any at all, dopamine release.
The effects consists of a tingly mental and physical sensation, along with a very positive mood. Higher doses, such as the 250mg I decided to take, seem to cause some mental confusion during the peak. Your mind is too distracted by the happy, cuddly, uplifting emotions you're being flooded with.
The come-up for 4-FEA, even when administered intranasally, takes some time. I didn't notice my final 100mg dose until around an hour and a half afterward.
When you're coming up on the euphoric high, you can feel it slowly building up. Over the course of about 30 minutes, I found myself thinking "ooo, this is smooth, I wonder where it will take me..." Then, around 15 minutes longer, and I was hit with a very strong rush of just overall happiness. Contentedness. Just, happy to exist.
Very reminiscent of the come-up or peak of psilocin or many other 4-AcO-xxT compounds -- without the psychedelia.
The effects are very sedative, your mind and body are very relaxed, and you generally feel warm and uplifted. All I wanted to do for the duration of my experience was lay down and cuddle up in bed.
Eating and drinking water were not an issue while experiencing the effects of this compound.
I also had absolutely no urge to re-dose, and felt no desire to try it again since. It is a serotonin releaser, and I feel these types of compounds work best when you treat them with respect.
I also feel like 4-fluoroethamphetamine would be an AMAZING compound to add into a combination, to re-create some sort of energetic, euphoric high. On its own, the compound works only upon serotonin (or so it feels). I feel the character of 4-FEA would synergize extremely well with another more stimulating, energetic compound.
Of course, one should be weary when deciding to combine a multitude of different compounds.
Anywho, if you're looking for a relaxing serotonin releaser, 4-FEA might be a good option. The required dose for the tingly, euphoric effects is pretty high -- so it might not be too cost-efficient, depending on your source.
Alone, this compound is sedative, relaxing, and slightly euphoric. I'm excited to see some combinations that others will come up with. :)
I hope this experience report isn't too long for everybody. I know it is also horribly formatted -- I haven't bothered to go back and edit it. I don't often write up experience reports, so I'm sure I might have missed a lot of valuable information.
If you've any questions about my experience, or the compound itself, feel free to comment. I'll get back to you whenever I take the time to. :)
