I'm prescribed 40 mg Adderall IR for ADHD, been taking it for 3 years.
During the last 4 or so days I've found myself taking anywhere between 60-90 mg/day because I desperately need the effects for finals coming up at the end of next week.
Well, today, something weird happened: I took 40 mg's in the morning and had some coffee. Felt fine and productive, I started to come down so I took 30 more mg's, which actually made me sleepy. 4 hours later I took another 20 mg's (hoping it'd get me through the overwhelming amount of homework I have at the moment). An hour later and MY BRAIN WILL NOT FUNCTION. I can't think. I'm barely even forming a coherent sentence for this post. I have hardly gotten any work done today.
Have I overdone it so much that I won't be able to function for finals week? Should I take a small dose tomorrow or would I be better off with none at all?
My tolerance is pretty high but this is the first time I've ever taken over 40 mg's, and now I just don't really know what to expect for the next several days.
