I don't know if anyone is interested in reading this, but I felt like I needed to offload what I experienced and hopefully gain some insight.
My most recent trip got me into the waiting room. This was my first DMT trip that pulled me out of my body and and placed me into a new realm. The appearance of the waiting room was very reminiscent of computer graphics. The walls were white 2D planes, no texture whatsoever. Interestingly enough the dimensions of the waiting room and my position in it closely matched the room my physical body was in and where I was sitting in it.
Within the waiting room, to my left, was a very peculiar shape that floated about the room. It was a combination of a cube, a torus, as some completely unexplainable shapes. Once again much like computer graphics, the shape had, projected onto it, what looked like a word repeated in a tilling pattern. This word pattern shifted across the skin of the shape. I think the most fascinating thing about the shape was that I could perceive its mathematical perfection in what felt like infinite detail. As someone who is obsessed with math and geometry, this shape felt like a revelation. However, or some reason I also found the shape to be absolutely hilarious and when I returned from the trip I laughed for a solid 10 minutes about its absurdity.
It was when I looked to the upper right corner of the room that I realized I was being watched by what I later refereed to as "the receptionist". Seems like a fitting name for the being overseeing the waiting room. It didn't have much of a physical form at all, one eye and a beak floating in the air. The "beak" wasn't so much a literal beak as it was a geometric protrusion where I would expect a mouth to be. Though, I guess it reminded me of a vulture. The eye was the truly fascinating part. It was an absolutely black sphere which seemed to become infinitely small the longer I stared into it. It was like a black hole in that the room around it seemed to bend and get sucked into its center. When I made eye contact with the receptionist I could feel it staring at me with unimaginable intensity, like I was being crushed by its glaring black hole eye. I was slightly frightened and could only stare back in astonishment until the trip ended.
When I came to, my trip sitter told me that my eyes had been wide open throughout the entire 10 minute trip. After I had finished my laughing fit pertaining to the shape, I began to ponder what the receptionist was and why it was in the waiting room. After some thought I came to the conclusion that it was the one who had created the shape for me to demonstrate what it had to offer, and perhaps it remained perfectly still in the room because it knew I was startled and only wished to make its presence known to me. When I go back I want to make up for my initial adverse reaction to it and thank it for creating the shape that I so enjoyed. Then, hopefully the receptionist will take me from the waiting room onto whatever else it wishes to show me.
