About to smoke for the first time, any tips?

I finally got my hands on some DMT. It was pretty expensive, but whatever. Anyway, I bought a eucalyptus inhaler and a torch lighter and I'm thinking about starting off with 30 mg in an hour or so. I'm not really sure how far away the flame has to be from the pipe, but I'll probably figure it out even if no one sees this. I'm really excited to finally try it.

I've done some research and all that, have experience with psychedelics (mostly LSD) but I know this is a lot more powerful and thought I'd post just to see if anyone has any last minute tips that might help me out. I'd really appreciate it.
