The Twenty Minute Opioid Experience
I had seen various sites on the internet selling kratom vape juice. This peaked my curiosity so I decided to make some of my own.
I knew I needed to make an extraction from the powder that I had, so I simply took 14g of powdered Maeng Da kratom and boiled it in a large pot for 20 minutes to extract the alkaloids. I then boiled down the water until I had a black/brown sticky substance. This left me with approximately 1-2ml of substance. I never weighed it, since the substance is very sticky and hard to manipulate. I then took a penny sized ball and mixed it with 7.5 ml of propylene glycol, 7.5 ml of vegetable glycerin, and 2 ml of peach flavoring. I had a hard time getting it to dissolve, so I took it back out of the vape base and broke it up into little pieces. This still wouldn�t dissolve, so I simply boiled some water and put the dropper bottle in the boiling water for 10 minutes. This seemed to do the trick. There were some leftover chunks of the extract still left in the juice that wouldn�t dissolve, so I filtered the juice through an old t-shirt. This seemed to do the trick, but I was still skeptical that this juice would produce any kind of high. Boy was I wrong.
I set the box to 40 W and inhaled, held the vapor for approximately 2 seconds, and released the vapor. The vapor was surprisingly smooth; smoother than nicotine juice and tasted a bit like vaporized cannabis. I didn�t feel anything initially, so I took another puff. I started to feel a minor buzz, but figured it was a placebo. I waited for a little while and the effects started to set in, but were still weak at this point. I decided to power through and do 5 more puffs. This was probably the most intense positive experience that I�ve had with kratom. The peculiar thing about it is the effects only lasted for about 20-30 minutes, with some mild after effects afterwards. This may seem like a harsh comedown, but I experienced no withdrawal symptoms afterwards. After I came down completely, after about an hour or so, I then binged on the juice for about 4 hours.
It was easy to ingest, easy to make, no particularly nasty flavors, and a fast comeup. The only problem that I foresee is the potential habituation due to the short duration and intense effects. I also experienced a wonderful afterglow after I came down.
It is very easy to take too much and have an uncomfortable time, but I don�t think it would be very easy to overdose, as the body reacts very quickly to this method of ingestion, and nausea starts kicking in if one has ingested too much. This juice also will wreak havoc on coils, so I would do this with a cheap coil/atomizer.
