So last night me and my friend both took around 35mg of 2-CB; he had previously taken 2-CB before and also LSD once whereas I had not taken a psychedelic before. I realise this dose can be considered heavy to some for a first time but I knew i wanted to trip out.
It was around 9PM i think when we took one and a half pills each (25mg/pill) and we just sat on his bed listening to music; around 40 mins had passed and i was feeling that general "drug come-up feeling" started to notice colours being more vibrant and also the tapestry on his wall started to breathe almost with life.
another half an hour had passed and we were definitely starting to feel the drugs full effects, the tapestry was flowing with energy and colour, the different sections of it were shifting in and out of focus giving it a three dimensional look to it, the elephant's on the tapestry were moving in place, almost a walking motion. the smoke off of the incense burning on the table would shift into these geometric shapes flowing through the colour spectrum. this was really beautiful to watch from my perspective having never done psychs before. My friend was also taken by surprise as to how strong it hit us.
after a while of getting used to this new state of consciousness we decided to go on a wonder to the local Tesco shop. i was a little hesitant at first but once i got outside, woah. looking up into the sky and seeing the stars almost move across the sky, seeing geometry in almost everything; it was gorgeous. Walking felt autonomic, like I didnt even have to think about it; seeing the normal world outside was interesting, seeing normal things like cars or street lights take a whole new look to them.
when we got to the shop i felt very disconnected from the other, sober, people in it. I've been told this is a common thing on 2-CB, only feeling comfortable around other people on it. inside the shop my depth perception was all off, the back of the store looked just as close as the front, like i was seeing a 3-D world in 2-D. We grabbed a red bull and headed to the self checkout area and then a had a massive sigh of annoyance as we remembered we had to interact with one of the workers who was going to ID us for the energy drinks. we scanned, she came over and i felt as if she was breathing down our necks, very intimidated, and then it was over, we left and then walked back to his house.
when we got back we just sat and listened to music, watching various youtube videos and just watching the drug take its effect right infront of us. after another hour or so we decided to smoke a joint, this intensified my visuals again, colour burst back into my vision and all the geometry came back and surrounded most things. after each deep conversation we had we almost always came down the realisation that everything is about the journey and not the destination; as cringey as that sounds this is the biggest ting we taken from the trip.
looking back, last night was one of the best nights of my life and a fucking wonderful introduction into psychedelics for me. i cant wait to try more and learn about what these things can do for me.
