I've been taking MDMA every few months for about 2 years now at raves, never more then 200mg or so in a night, usually only 100-140 because the neurotoxicity, it gives me chattiness, a sense of euphoria and makes the music sound better but I've always disliked the fact it gives me no energy rush like everyone else seems to get, I end up getting tired after 5 mins of dancing and just have to sit down for most the night. The euphoria and chattiness seems really forced and fake after about a year of it also. I also dislike how fucked up you look with the gurning. My short term memory is also starting to suffer because of it. These four points plus the neurotoxicity led me to look for a replacement drug. After a bit of digging I found 2cb and liked the sound of it.
Speaking as a MDMA user who doesn't use psychedelics, this stuff is amazing and feels to me like MDMA is described to me by other people. I took one 20mg pill at a rave last night after 4 standard drinks and the music sounded incredible, like better then it ever has on M. I was incredibly clear headed but at the same time could zone myself out into a trance state with the music. I had mild visuals with the tracers and closed eye visuals in the laser lights and that was also amazing. The thing that sold this chemical for me is the dancing though, dancing just feels incredible and effortless, I danced for about 3 hours straight at the front of the floor without breaking a sweat. One thing I found funny is I literally couldn't talk when a good song was on, I was just lost in the music unable to communicate until it stopped or I left the dancefloor. Once I was able to talk though I was still incredibly chatty, friendly and happy, just not as forced as on M.
I'll definitely be looking to explore the visual side of it in a marginally higher dose next time around, but the lower side of dosage seems like my idea of MDMA and I'm so thankful this stuff exists because I can do it a lot more frequently then MDMA and not end up an e-tard! Just had to share because I'm so happy I found my perfect rave drug.
