Side note: For me, alcohol is generally only worthwhile to consume when I am in a social situation, & with several people. On my own it usually only has negative effects. I like to drink alcohol sometimes, but it's not my drug of choice. I am also a shy person so I like the disinhibitory effects.
In general, I talk, laugh, & dance more, but I am clumsy & foggy minded. This is a comprehensive list of the effects I feel when drunk.
Positive Effects:
-Increased talking, stuff just comes-out without thinking beforehand as much. Conversation is also more fun & interesting.
-Increased smiling & laughter.
-Decreased shyness.
-Dancing is extremely fun.
-Possible relaxation.
-Music may sound better.
-Living in the present moment.
Neutral Effects:
-Drunken vision. Everything looks the same, but moving my head around feels different. If drunk & not just buzzed; my vision is also jerky, especially when taking steps. These are good, quick indicators I use to check how intoxicated I am.
-Only desires are to socialize, dance, or get high, & they are very strong desires.
-Increased swearing. Generally a bad thing, but humorous at times.
-Wobbly. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-Stumbling. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-Loose feeling in muscles. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-I may get flushed cheeks.
-My personality becomes exaggerated.
-I may get red/bloodshot eyes.
-Sleepy/drowsy look on face.
-Slow speech, & tangled words. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-I might repeat phrases that I already said.
-People may look more attractive.
-I might not give a shit about what I am saying. (though I always had my common sense when drunk)
-More lusting at girls, though sexual function is diminished greatly.
-Tendency to call or text friends starting off saying things like Broooooo!!!! or Duuuuuuddddeee!!!, etc
Negative Effects:
-When I first drink the alcohol, I may get a slight headache sensation for a short time; clearly it isn't healthy for my body.
-Extreme sleepiness. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-Foggy mind & headspace.
-Dulled senses.
-If I had too much, then my vision may spin like it does after I spin around in circles, mainly when lying-down.
-More difficult to think/do schoolwork-type stuff. Not crisp.
-Very difficult to reach orgasm. Bad for sexual activities. Despite the fact that I lust more.
-Clumsiness/poor coordination. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-Delayed reaction time. (mostly if drunk & not just buzzed)
-I may get angry for a stupid reason. (only happened once thus far)
My stages of drunkenness:
Buzz: Dont look or sound clumsy, mainly just the mental effects. Feel like Im able to drive, but still dont trust myself.
Drunk: All effects present, but still dont look like a stereotypical drunk.
Really Drunk: Severe wobbling, stumbling, & laughter. Obviously drunk.
I never got above stage 3.
