I have this friend who is a kindred spirit in speed, and he recently bullshat himself into getting a Concerta prescription. This damn fool doctor game him the highest dosage of Concertas 54s, the ones that look like big red nuclear submarines. About a week ago to this day, I decided I wanted to be in a great mood and potentially get some work done. I looked at those massive red Concerta pills and figured taking a whole one may not be the most prudent idea. I had no experience with this specific substance.I decided to cut the pill clean in half with a kitchen knife. On the inside, its mostly a white chalky substance along with a thin layer of something brown under the red coating. Around noon, I tossed the half down the hatch, poured another of coffee and got right down to business.
Within a couple hours I was soaring. I had my laptop open to a presentation I was working on, my phone was playing an interesting YouTube video, and the TV was blaring with the news. It was total sensory overload, but I felt like I was soaking it all in, and it felt great. I was thinking How could this be the more mild ADHD medication? Im feeling damn near more fucking fried on this half pill than I would on shitload of dex!
Since I was still under the impression that the XR action of this pill would be preserved despite the halving, I was looking forward to the next 6-8 hours or so of feeling like Sherlock in the BBC miniseries. This came to a screeching halt at the two-hour mark, where I crashed precipitously. My body was still stimulated and tense, but all my mental acuity and happiness had vanished. Its like my whole being was trying to pour from an empty cup, it was horrible. My body was still stimulated and tense, but all my mental acuity and happiness had vanished.
