My personal experience with vaporized nicotine it extremely positive. First of all, my continually stuffed up sinuses have cleared and my allergies seem to be reduced. I have a feeling that I attribute to greater levels of oxygen in my system. It is similar to what I get from using a nebulizer (albuterol), used to help asthma.
I experience greater visual acuity. This is something that happens when I start taking SSRI's after a period of discontinuance. More nerves are firing, I become more aware of and interested in my environment. For the first time in more years than I can count, I can look around me and see things that I need to do, and actually do things. This is something that no SSRI has been able to achieve.
Previously the SSRIs made me crave alcohol. This was not addictive, but the alcohol added something lacking to the brain chemistry that made it possible for me to feel pleasant emotions. That need is gone. I am capable of being happy. The nicotine is decreasing my appetite, and causing me to be satisfied with smaller amounts of food than was ever the case previously. I had become morbidly obese from years of heavy alcohol consumption, and no amount of diet or exercise would rid me of it. Now, the weight is starting to come off. It has also helped me focus on my studies, increasing attention and retention.
Dosage: I have been using nicotine liquid with a concentration of 2.4 mg per milliliter. I have always been a person who required a higher dose of anything to have effect, but I simply find the higher concentration more cost effective. I can have one puff or ten, as I wish.
In sum, nicotine, pure nicotine vaped and not smoked, seems to be the wonder drug to shame all others. I have been using it for two weeks now, and there is absolutely no sign of addiction or habituation. There is no physiological need or craving, just the conscious desire to use it when I choose.
