My 6gram unbreakable rule:
First I had to accept the unpredictable nature of Kratom. Then I had to teach my brain of its sublime subtle nature. What I mean is even though I didn't "Feel it" I looked at my day. Wow it was a great day! I was more social, I felt more love for people and more grateful. Yet I didn't feel the kratom that day.
I use imood journal (I am not affiliated) on my iPhone. It's basically a journal that bugs you throughout the day with buttons. You can track your moods and put hashtags to easily search. What I noticed is that even when I didn't feel the kratom my moods were stabilized!
Ok so here is my Unbreakable rule system
I give myself 6 grams to play with a day
I can take 4grams and then 2 grams. I can take 2 grams 3 Times a day or 6 grams later at night and watch a movie.
I also never EVER EVER EVER take more than 6 g in one day. So basically if I want to treat myself I'll hold off on the 4 g and I'll take 6 g and watch a movie on the weekend but then I won't do that consistently. Or if I'm in a lot of pain 2 grams 3 Times a day really helps. I screwed my back in a car accident.
I've managed to take it for two years now and it always affects me positively. I can stop without WD. I have to admit it's hard because it makes me feel great but physically I don't feel the WD. I also don't have any side effects. I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and I exercise everyday without kratom. Makes me feel like shaky for some reason if I take it.
Anyway thought I should share and maybe it will help some of you.
So find the lowest daily dosage and stick to it!
Acceptance, great-fullness and compassion for what we are and what we are given. Even if you or the Kratom are inconsistent. Ride the wave. If it pummels you give yourself a pat on the back because your getting back up and trying again and sometimes again and again and again....it's a process of all of us.
