I'm writing a trip report because there is so little information about this substance out there, and I hope this can help anyone in the position I was in a few days ago.
I bought two packages of San Pedro powder from Blue Goba (28 grams each). Some of the times in this report are estimates, as I was away from my phone most of the day and got the times from my friend.
12:45pm - I mix 20 grams with iced tea powder and water, and my friend does the same with 16 grams. We attempt to drink the sludge.
1:45 - my friend finished hers and I'm still working on mine. The taste isn't terrible, but the texture is disgusting!
2:45 - I finally finish mine. We're both feeling something but it's too subtle to put our fingers on it. We go outside and hang out in the backyard for a bit.
3:30 - we're still not feeling much of anything. my friend jokes about how it would be much easier to bake the powder into a brownie or something, and it dawns on me that we have mug cakes in the pantry. Of course, we then bake the powder into mug cakes to make ingestion easier. She put about 5 grams in hers and I put in the remaining 8 grams in mine. We eat our cakes outside.
3:45 - she stops eating hers because there's an ant in it (lol).
4:00 - we're still not feeling much (to the point where we're questioning if we're even feeling anything at all). My friend hits her dab pen a couple times. I continue to eat the gross cake.
4:45 - we go inside to watch a movie and take a break from the sun. My friend is really high and says the characters' faces are morphing. I'm still eating the cake!!
5:00 - I'm done with the cake and ate almost all of it. I probably ingested around 25 grams total. As we watch the movie I feel a bit like I do on cannabis edibles.
6:45 - we're done the movie and I feel like I'm tripping. It's mild and gentle but it's definitely there.
7:30 - we go for a walk and end up laying in the grass. Everything looks saturated in colour and there is a mild rainbow tinge to everything, similar to acid. The clouds are fractalling and look a bit kaleidoscopic (to both of us). I feel very happy and peaceful.
8:00 - we walk until the sun sets, stopping occasionally to take pictures or look at the sky. Everything is beautiful and we feel very happy.
9:30 - we watch some TV and chat and just enjoy each other's company.
11:00 - she goes home and I head to bed to wind down. I do some meditating and listen to music.
1:00 - I try to go to sleep. I get mild closed eye visuals of Aztec-like shapes and patterns. I can't sleep but I keep trying. I don't feel frustrated and just let it happen.
2:30 - I finally end up falling asleep.
I think if I'd managed to take all of the powder in a smaller time frame, then I would've gotten a stronger trip, more like what I was expecting. While it was a very fun day, I would've liked to have experienced more of the drug.
