In the county jail I was at, the nurses would come three times a day to give inmates their prescriptions and whatnot. The thing though is that you could also request a Tylenol or Diphenhydramine (25mg). So I got it three times a day and stored them, which added to 75mg a day. I had to hide each one under my tongue immediately after receiving them because the nurse had to check that you swallowed it.
So anyways, every two weeks I would have my 1g dose. I was only able to do it twice because I was only there for 30 days. It was scary, man. I already have pretty high anxiety and all that too.
The first time I took them it was at night and I just pretty much went insane, in my mind anyways. It was really just because I couldn't smoke, and being confined to my small cell all night did not pair well with a deliriant at all. I saw shadow people in my cell and was hearing voices. The walls were breathing. I was talking to people who weren't there. The guards came by and I tried to act normal but I was clearly out of it.
The second time was during the day and it was slightly better but still terrifying. I saw inmates that didn't exist walking around and tried to talk to them. The corrections officers looked like shadow figures. I could hear my name being called from every direction.
I do not recommend tripping on DPH in a confined space, especially not a jail cell. The anxiety and paranoia are amplified tenfold when you can't leave.
