The Time I Got Fentanyl in My Xanax

Last year at the peak of my Xanax addiction I got fentanyl laced bars. I remember the bars were really soft, not that bitter, and I remember being so messed up — throwing up, sweating, convulsing, borderline seizing. I woke up the next morning and bought a fentanyl test kit. Tested the rest of my bars and sure enough the test came out positive.

I have no idea how I'm alive today to tell this story. The bars were white and softer than normal pharmaceutical Xanax. The lack of the typical bitter alprazolam taste was the first sign something was off, but by then it was too late.

If you are buying Xanax from anyone other than a pharmacy, test it. Every single time. Fentanyl in pressed benzodiazepines is not a myth — it nearly killed me.
