Ground 2g of dried cubensis to powder, soaked in fresh lemon juice for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, then drank the whole thing including the mushroom material. The theory is that the citric acid begins converting psilocybin to psilocin before ingestion, leading to faster onset and increased intensity.
T+0:10 already feeling it. With regular oral consumption, I don't feel 2g until T+0:30-0:40. This was noticeably accelerated. T+0:15 definite visual activity — surfaces breathing, color enhancement, mild patterning.
T+0:20-0:30 the come-up was compressed and intense. Went from threshold to full effects in about 15 minutes instead of the usual 45. Mild nausea but less than eating dried mushrooms — possibly because the lemon pre-digested some of the chitin.
T+0:30-2:00 the peak felt equivalent to about 3g eaten normally. Strong visuals, emotional depth, profound music appreciation. The intensity surprised me given the relatively modest dose.
T+2:30-3:30 the come-down was also accelerated. By T+3:30 I was essentially at baseline. A normal 2g trip lasts 4-5 hours for me.
Lemon tek trades duration for intensity. Same total dose, compressed timeline. I prefer this method now — the shorter duration makes it more practical for integration into a day, and the reduced nausea is a genuine benefit.
