After many experiences with various psychedelics, I decided to go deeper with this one. I prepared extensively — clean house, no obligations for 24 hours, healthy meals the day before, a curated playlist of ambient and classical music.
T+0:00 - Dose taken. Meditated for the come-up.
T+0:45 - Body load coming on. Some stomach discomfort and yawning. I know from experience this is normal and will pass.
T+1:30 - Full immersion. With eyes closed and headphones on, I was transported to vast inner landscapes. Geometric fractals gave way to what felt like encounters with aspects of my own psyche. I processed grief about losing my grandmother last year — I could feel her presence and it was incredibly healing.
T+3:00 - The peak was intense. At one point, the boundary between self and environment dissolved completely. There was no "me" experiencing something — just pure awareness. This lasted maybe 20 minutes but felt timeless.
T+4:00 - Coming back to a sense of self but with profound clarity. I journaled extensively about patterns in my life I wanted to change. Everything felt connected and meaningful.
T+6:00 - Gentle comedown with warm afterglow. Made tea, ate some fruit.
T+8:00 - Baseline. Slept well and woke up feeling refreshed with a renewed perspective.
This was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. The key was preparation, intention, and surrender. I've integrated several insights from this session into my daily life.
