We planned a day hike on a remote trail we knew well. Beautiful sunny day, mid-autumn with the leaves changing colors.
T+0:00 - Dosed at the trailhead. Started walking at a relaxed pace.
T+0:45 - The forest started to come alive. Every leaf seemed to glow from within. The bark patterns on trees were mesmerizing. My friends were experiencing similar effects and we kept stopping to admire things.
T+1:30 - Full effects. The forest felt sacred, like walking through a cathedral made of living wood and light. Bird songs were extraordinarily complex and musical. We found a clearing by a stream and sat there for what felt like hours.
T+2:30 - Watching the water flow was hypnotic. The ripples contained infinite patterns. We shared snacks and talked about how modern life disconnects us from nature.
T+4:00 - Started the walk back as effects began to gently subside. Everything still looked enhanced but I felt more grounded.
T+6:00 - Back at the car, feeling tired but deeply content.
Being in nature on 5-MeO-DiPT was extraordinary. The sense of connection to the living world was overwhelming in the best way. Would highly recommend an outdoor setting to anyone comfortable with the substance.
