Users may find themselves able to hold multiple variables in mind simultaneously, trace chains of cause and effect more easily, and identify flaws in reasoning that would normally go unnoticed. The second dimension involves a more creative and lateral form of analysis, where unusual connections between disparate concepts become apparent and conventional assumptions are questioned from novel angles.
Analysis enhancement is most commonly induced under the influence of stimulant compounds such as amphetamines, methylphenidate, and modafinil, where the effect tends to be more consistent and task-oriented.
