I didn't come here to brag, but to hopefully help someone who is struggling anonymously. I lost everything to dope, and when I began my journey through recovery (again) I never saw myself being one to stay committed. I am wholeheartedly grateful, and put my heart into focusing on myself and my problems. I am happy to say that after 113 days (so far) life has got better. I'm gaining all my courage to be better again, completed my 90/90 in a sober living, and just graduated from my intense outpatient drug classes.
And just want to say this simple message in hopes it is listened to and maybe helps someone else one day: Life does get better. It may not seem that way. But stay committed (even if you're one to complain about everything like me) and life will be worth it, and your hard work will pay off. Just keep swimming.
