After New Year's I wanted to get back in nootropics mostly for studying and get better motivation, because lately I felt very unmotivated to even start learning, probably due to other substances that came across. I have read positive reviews of piracetam an I wanted to try it out myself to get organised a bit and maybe improve my thinking. I usually go training and to the gym 5 days a week(but since a month ago I have been missing it because I simply couldn't go), my diet is not very good because I don't really have time to eat well but I always try. I supplement with vitamins instead.
I've ordered a few nootropics,
-At first I tried L-Theanine, 2x 100mg a day with caffeine and I have to say it is very subtle, but when taken with caffeine it just feels a little bit smoother and calmer and you don't get distracted that easy.
-The second day I took 1g Piracetam and 100mg L-theanine (with coffee a bit later) after I woke up at 8am. I ate eggs for choline. Then I went to school, during the travel my head started to feel a bit foggy and I felt a little bit of pressure but nothing unbearable, but I still felt very sharp and could think faster. After I arrived I felt very foggy but still sharp. I could talk normally and think very clearly but sometimes I got distracted by the fog. That stayed until that for an hour or an hour and a half, then it went away, I felt very sober and very sharp, I could think very straigth, my mood got a little bit better too (maybe because the fog went away and I started to feel actual effects). I don't really have social anxiety but sometimes it is harder to keep conversations up with people I don't know that well. I felt like my brain could process more visual details, maybe a little bit more clear but very subtle, I didn't really see an improvement in colours. I could talk calmly and with ease about anything with anyone. My recall from my memory felt better, and I could put them in to conversations. At 12am I took another 1,2g piracetam and 100mg L-theanine and went for another literature lesson. I don't usually take part in the lessons because it is boring but I liked the book we analyzed and it felt easy to talk about it and make good points. After I went home at 6pm I took another 1g and that made me irritateable and a bit hypomanic, but I could still finish studying. It wasn't very bad though.
-Third day same dosage of everything at closer time interval between the second and the third dose, eggs + 2x 100mg alpha-gpc. No fog this time, just the great effects, however the first day after the fog went away the effects felt more pronounced but it is negligible. It starts to feel like my brain is clean(er) from anything bad I have done to it (haven't abused anything but I can still feel the side effects a bit) and is working on a higher capacity. I feel like I'm sharper but it is also subtle and I am totally fully sober but also high a tiny bit. This could be placebo but I don't care if placebo works too. I feel a bit hypomanic but I am still my normal self I just have more energy to express myself. At a language lesson I could recall older words from my memories and could build sentences in speech faster. At a 4 hour long math course I couldn't understand any more I would have if im sober but it felt clearer and easier to pay attention. At home I consumed cannabis to relax after the long day and that felt maybe a little bit better with the remaining piracetam.
-Fourth day 1,2g after waking up 400mg before going out(l-theanine, alpha-gpc same as before). It haven't felt this good yet(of the piracetam experiences). Great mood, very sober, music sounds great(because im on point and effortless to actually listen to it it is no mdma), it is very easy to talk and no anxiety. I went to a huge educational exhibiton and felt great and could talk with everybody excellently.
-Today same as Yesterday but no eggs, only 300mg alpa-gpc in the morning and it felt great just as before. I wrote a 4 hour long exam and I could focus and pay attention and think 100% on the subject.
I have took 2,4g piracetam a few times(maybe 1 week) 2 years ago and that felt very foggy and no benefits at all, so now I am very happy with there results. I have tried noopept, that gives tunnel focus, but I didn't really like it. I will try phenylpiracetam too and update this thread. PhenylP I have tried once and it was great so I am looking ahead to try it again, just waiting for the perfect oportunity to reap the benefits. I also want to try Phenibut but it sounds like a harder drug, what are your opinions on that one? Is this how piracetam should affect me?
