I have significant experience with other psychedelics, but I have never tried DMT, mostly for one reason: I absolutely cannot stand smoking or vaporizing and inhaling anything. It hurts my lungs, my throat, my mouth, and as a classical singer I've listened to too many stoner pianists tell me how they used to be able to sing...
But I really want to try DMT. I have access to DMT as a freebase and to freebase Syrian Rue extract, which is most a harmine/harmaline mix in about equal quantities.
My main questions are:
How many mg of each should I take?
Should I take them both at once, or should I take the harmala alkaloids first and then wait some time? If I should wait, how long?
I know the freebase needs to be dissolved in an acid before ingestion. I have easy access to orange juice (citric acid) and Coca-Cola (phosphoric acid). Which would be better? Once I dissolve the freebase, should I just drink the solution? Should I do the same for my harmala alkaloid freebase?
Are there any other things I need for this experience, or are the harmalas and the DMT enough?
Finally, is this a bad idea for a first time doing DMT? I'm not inexperienced with psychedelics, but I've heard that oral DMT methods can be much more powerful than smoked DMT. Am I getting myself into something I might not be ready for? Should I just suck it up (bad pun, sorry) and try smoking DMT first?
