(M 22) long time sufferer of anxiety and clinical depression here, opened up to a colleague of mine as I've been going through a particular rough patch recently, and has offered me a weeks worth of psychocybilic pills if I'm interested.
I've tried many different courses of anti depressants including beta blockers and citaroplam which had too many adverse effects.
I'm looking to see if anyone has had any experience with treating depression by microdosing. I did self medicate with cannabis for several years and then threw the habit after realising it was really just making me lethargic and pushing the thoughts away rather than confronting them.
Is there any possibility it could make me worse? Or is it something I should trial as it's reaction is unique to each individual?
Thanks for reading guys, I'd appreciate any input at this point.
