Colour enhancement is defined as an intensification of the brightness, vividness, and saturation of colors throughout the external environment. Colour enhancement is often accompanied by other visual effects such as colour shifting, visual acuity enhancement, pattern recognition enhancement, and drifting. When combined with these effects, the visual experience can become extraordinarily rich and complex, with enhanced colors flowing, shifting, and interacting in ways that create a dynamic, living quality to visual perception. The effect typically persists throughout the active duration of the substance and may linger into the afterglow period, gradually fading as baseline perception is restored.
