I had a beautiful loving trip at a party that I wanted to share. I don't really write trip reports but it was so nice I feel like I should record it. Every part of the trip was pleasant.
-25mg~ pink superman pill from about a year back that I'd been saving for a special occasion
-350ml vodka
-Weed throughout
I took the pill whole at 12:30 at predrinks. I had eaten a big meal about four hours prior to taking it. At pres I was sipping vodka slowly and having a nice calm chat with a small group of friends before we walked to the party a few streets away. We get to the party at around 1:15- I know the hosts and a fair few people at the party and a lot of people I've never met or only once before. The hosts are relatively new friends of mine but I feel very comfortable in their presence, they're all very nice and are excellent DJs so the music was just what I wanted to dance to that night - garage, bassline, jungle, hardcore rave etc.
At about 1:45 I'm talking to someone new when I start to feel 'it'. His face started to morphe but it wasn't scary, just a tell of the comeup. I tell him that I'm starting to feel it and he reassures me. I should mention I very often feel nauseous on the comeup and sometimes throw up but there was none of that. I think the vodka I'd been sipping helped somehow? The comeup gets more intense as my friend of a few years P comes in with the first joint of the evening along with two other good friends.
We sit in the garden looking through the window into the living room where the dancefloor is and smoke. The visuals ramp up immensely and I get my friend L to shine his phone torch at the grass so I can admire the crazy organic visuals. I remember sitting in my chair looking at my new friends, my old friends, the stars and the grass and feeling an incredible sense of belonging and peace. I was due to move away from this city back home the day after and the party was feeling like a true summation and send off of my time in the city.
After this I continued to dance, chat, drink the rest of my vodka and smoke until around 6am having the time of my life, basking in the soft yet sharp visuals that continued for some time. I had some very meaningful conversations with new people which put me in an excellent headspace.
Me and L then walked home back to his and came across a beautiful hydrangea bush (look it up if you're unfamiliar) and stood in the lovely morning sun for what must've been 20 minutes admiring it and laughing (he was on MDMA). We had some spliffs at his and had a lovely heart to heart about our time and friendship together. We listened to some nice music and managed to fall asleep from around 8 to 11am, when I said my goodbyes and got a taxi home.
My relationship with 2cb is a bit on-and-off but this trip is up in my all time favourite psych trips ever. No nausea, no negativity and wonderful visuals that lasted longer than usual. A beautiful way to end my time in that city that I will definitely be returning to. Sorry for the length, hope you enjoy :)
