The person may observe their body performing these actions as if watching a separate entity.

It is most commonly reported with dissociative substances (ketamine, DXM, PCP), where the disconnection between mind and body can progress to a point where physical actions feel as though they are being performed by someone or something else — a "body-robot" carrying out tasks while consciousness merely observes.
