When explored, the geography and architecture of these settings can organize themselves as static and internally coherent — behaving like real places with consistent spatial relationships, identifiable landmarks, and navigable layouts. However, they may equally manifest as non-linear, nonsensical, and continuously morphing environments that do not obey the laws of physics or spatial logic.
